Installation Instructions For: Yamaha XD / SD Series Bimini Extension
This extension kit is designed specifically for Yamaha boats running the Solid, Non-Folding Bimini. It mounts directly to the 1.5 inch Bimini frame tubing and adds a clean, stable shade system that extends toward the stern or Bow. The install is quick and doesn’t require any drilling or modification to your tower or bimini.

What’s Included
You’ll find everything you need in the box:
-
(2) 1.5 inch diameter bracket assemblies
-
(2) telescoping carbon fiber poles
-
(1) Shade canvas
-
(1) Storage Bag
A 3/16" or 5mm Allen Wrench will be required for assembly
Step 1: Mount the 1.5" Clamps to the Bimini Frame
Start by opening each Shoreline clamp. Wrap the clamp around your Yamaha's Bimini frame tubing and reassemble it with the bracket pointing toward the rear of the boat.
Because the Bimini uses 1.5" tubing, no spacers are needed—these clamps are sized for this frame.
Mount this on the outside (port/starboard) sides of the bimini frame. There is a small opening in the canvas material to allow for mounting.

Step 2: Insert the Telescoping Poles
Slide a pole into each clamp’s receiver tube and extend the pole
Step 3: Attach the Shade to the Clamps
Take the leading edge of the shade and wrap the sewn-in straps around each clamp bracket. Pull the straps tight so the shade sits centered and secure.
If the fabric is sitting slightly crooked, just loosen the straps and shift it until both sides look even.
Step 4: Connect the Rear Grommets
Each back corner of the shade has a reinforced grommet. Loop these over the ends of the poles.
This step puts the final tension on the fabric and gives it its finished shape.
If one side looks higher or tighter, fine-tune by adjusting pole height or shifting the front
