One thing that is needed is quality shade when you spend your entire day on the water. I had been looking for ways to extend my factory bimini and even looked at building my own kit but I couldn�t do it with quality materials for what this shade extension costs. Everything is high quality. It easily doubles the size of the factory Malibu Illusion tower bimini, without drilling any holes in your boat. I have recommended it to numerous people already. One word of caution is that like many things this does need some planning and adjustments during the initial installation, but once the brackets are installed they stay put and you simply slide the poles in and extend them as you hook the shade onto the end. It takes no time at all to deploy or take down once you do the initial install (which took me 30 mins including adjustments).
I was skeptical at first, but this shade extension has completely changed our boating experience. It provides plenty of coverage without interfering while wakesurfin. The installation was straightforward, and the materials are top-notch. If you own a Malibu, this is a must-have!
We are so happy this product was created. Install was very simple also putting the shade up and taking it down takes all of 1 min. Really helps create a nicer boating experience for the family on the back of the boat, especially in this Texas sun. Contemplating on purchasing another cover for the bow. One of the best purchases that we have made for our 2024 Malibu.
